The Tourmaline Mineralizing Biostone filter is composed of mineralized energy spheres and coconut-activated carbon. These energy spheres contain Tourmaline, which radiate far infrared energy. This enhances ionization by reducing water cluster size and increasing the amount of dissolved oxygen in the water.
The Maifanite stone increases the mineral concentration in the water, allowing stronger, more efficient electrolysis. The stone also aids in trapping and removing micro-organisms and heavy metals such as lead, cadmium, chromium, arsenic, and mercury.
Coconut-activated carbon is one of the most efficient Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) filtering materials, and absorbs many Volatile Organic Chemicals (VOC), Pesticides and Herbicides, Chlorine, Benzene, Trihalomethane (THM) compounds, Radon, Solvents, unpleasant odor, and hundreds of other man-made chemicals found in tap water.
